Pinewood Derby 2012

Last year we experienced our first Pinewood Derby with the Cub Scouts and, as you may remember, Bug wasn't very thrilled with the idea of racing.  Well, what a difference a year can make!  It's Pinewood Derby time again and Bug is very excited about it!  He's been working on his car and he finally has it ready to go...


Hard at work, concentrating, very focused on painting his car.


Phase one of painting complete, just waiting for it to dry.


Phase two complete.  He decided to make it into a "bee" car.  Clever!


Vroom, vroom!!!  Or should I say buzz, buzz!?!  The car is ready to go race!  The Pinewood Derby is March 24, and this time Bug is actually looking forward to it!
